Job Description

Our client, a leading food production facility, is seeking a Custodian to join their team. As a Custodian, you will be part of the operations team supporting a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow safety protocols which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Custodian / Janitor

Location: Weslaco, TX

Pay Range: $13 per hour

What's the Job?

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and mirrors.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust offices, break rooms, conference areas, and hallways.
• Assist with the cleaning and sanitation of production lines, equipment, and floors.
• Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of supplies in common areas.

What's Needed?

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience; experience in a food production environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and safe handling procedures.
• Comfortable working around machinery and following strict sanitation standards.
• Ability to wear PPE (gloves, masks, gowns, etc.) and follow all safety protocols.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must.
