Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Bank Teller to join a growing banking team in Los Altos. This role will be focused on Private Banking and working exclusively with High-Net-Worth clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while performing a variety of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service in-person, via phone, and through digital channels.
• Assist clients with day-to-day banking needs including deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries, and resolving issues.
• Provide personalized financial solutions by recommending products and services such as checking and savings accounts, credit cards, personal loans, and online banking tools.
• Educate clients on account features, financial wellness tools, and fraud prevention best practices.
• Open new accounts and ensure all documentation meets compliance and regulatory standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of banking products, policies, and procedures to confidently answer questions and provide guidance.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure a smooth handoff for complex financial needs (e.g., mortgage, investments, business banking).
• Support branch operations by assisting with audits, cash handling, and documentation reviews.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and contribute to branch goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in retail banking, customer service, or a financial services environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
• Comfortable using digital platforms, financial software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
