ABOUT OUR BUSSER ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team Trailborn Grand Canyon. As a Busser, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to the success of our team. You will work closely with our chefs and servers to ensure that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas as well as employee breakrooms and employee restrooms

  • Clearing tables of plates and glasses, running food from kitchen to proper guest at the table, polishing silverware and glassware, clean and do side work tasks daily & throughout shift
  • Helping servers and bartenders if they request assistance, bringing water to tables, sanitizing tables, perform restroom checks
  • Sweep and mop floors, and perform other cleaning duties as assigned
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • 1+ years of restaurant or hospitality experience
  • Professional customer service skills and multitasking
  • People skills - must be able to maintain an upbeat mood and connect with our guests and staff.
  • Thoroughness and attention to details
  • High energy level - this position will require ability to move quickly/efficiently
  • Timeliness - be able to get to work on time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to remain upright and able to continuously move on a firm surface for an 8–10-hour shift.
  • Must be able to move at least 20 pounds up to 5 feet high without another person's aid.

SKILLS

As a Busser, you will use your attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen and dining area. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with team members will be essential to ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. Additionally, your knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations will help us maintain a safe and healthy environment for our guests and team members alike.

SCHEDULE

Hospitality demands a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as the business requires coverage including seasonality – on any day at any hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

SALARY RANGE

$15.90 per hour based on experience
