Trade Support Associate

Location: NYC & CT flexible

• Hybrid (3 days in office)

Salary: $100k - $130k base + bonus

About the Role:

We are representing a leading hedge fund seeking skilled trade operations professionals to join their expanding team. In this role, you will confirm and execute long-short trades promptly while handling additional tasks. You will collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, brokers, and other relevant parties, contributing to the team's market growth. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the full trade life-cycle for an array of asset classes.

Responsibilities:

• Working cross-functionally to oversee all trade life-cycle events, with emphasis on total return swaps and bank debt.

• Handle swap resets, trade bookings, corporate action processing, P&L inquiries, and daily reconciliations.

• Coordinate timelines and finalize loans.

• Set up and maintain loans, including functions like PIKs and paydowns.

• Identify process gaps and collaborate with internal and external resources to develop detailed requirements for issue resolution.

• Review daily transactions, positions, and cash reconciliations for TRS and loan payments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in finance, economics or a related field

• 3+ years of relevant experience

• Proficient in interest rate swaps, CDS, and other derivatives
