Strategic Account Manager - Silicon Valley Join to apply for the Strategic Account Manager - Silicon Valley role at Paycom . Description This position offers a salary of $95,000 per year, along with an uncapped commission plan. The Strategic Account Manager (internally known as Client Relations Representative) is responsible for maintaining existing client relationships through usage, retention, and revenue growth. Responsibilities include: Leveraging technology to ensure clients see a return on their investments Identifying and developing additional revenue opportunities Maximizing employee and client usage of Paycom software Responsibilities Collaborate with Outside Sales and Transition Specialists to ensure smooth client onboarding and continuity of service Develop and nurture existing client relationships for retention Achieve sales and revenue goals through client retention and account expansion Analyze and validate client needs regularly Drive revenue growth, account profitability, and client satisfaction Present software solutions and value propositions to clients Maintain relationships at all organizational levels, including C-level executives Conduct weekly face-to-face meetings with clients, prepare strategic agendas, review usage, and identify opportunities Perform business reviews, present performance metrics, and recommend improvements Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics Understand client organizational structures Provide feedback for software development based on market needs Travel: Up to 75% travel, including overnight stays Attend in-person training sessions for new hires and ongoing development What We Offer: Base salary, transportation allowance, and uncapped commissions $1 per pay period health insurance Paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and personal days 401(k) with matching and Employee Stock Purchase Program Company and team events, diversity and inclusion initiatives, paid family leave, employee referral bonuses, and learning programs Qualifications Education/Certification: Bachelor's Degree required Preferred Experience: Strategic sales and closing experience Proven success exceeding sales goals in competitive environments Skills and Abilities: Influencing and persuading skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments Conflict resolution skills Self-motivated and independent thinking Needs assessment capabilities Time management skills Professional presence, including presentation to executives and groups Team-oriented with knowledge sharing Excellent communication skills (phone, oral, written) Paycom is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
