Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Sr. React Web Developer to work remotely, supporting EST time zones and offshore teams. In this role, you will be the primary owner and technical lead for a critical web application, responsible for driving development efforts, establishing best practices, and ensuring the applications long-term scalability and performance. You will take a hands-on approach to coding, optimizing, and enhancing the user experience, while also guiding the team through architectural decisions and technical challenges.
As the go-to expert, you will lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement high-quality solutions. You will work closely with third-party developers to transition responsibilities, progressively taking full ownership of the application and spearheading strategic initiatives to enhance development efficiency and deployment processes.
With a team of approximately eight developers, you will be instrumental in streamlining workflows, improving CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring seamless production releases. This position is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional, scalable web applications.

Required Skills & Experience 8-10+ years of experience as a react web developer
Extensive experience with React, JavaScript and TypeScript
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable web applications
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and leadership skills
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX)
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
Understanding of UI foundational frameworks
Expertise in responsive design principles
Familiarity with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm)
Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Enzyme)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience - Integrating with Auth0
