What You’ll Do: Environmental Permitting & Compliance: Prepare, submit, and manage air permits in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct permit renewals, modifications, and reporting in a timely manner. Develop and implement environmental compliance programs, policies, and procedures. Regulatory Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records and prepare reports for regulatory agencies including Title V air permits. Conduct emissions calculations, impact assessments, and pollution control evaluations. Stay updated on environmental regulations and ensure facility compliance with evolving standards. Preparation of public comment packets. Stakeholder & Agency Coordination: Liaise with environmental agencies, consultants, and industry groups to ensure regulatory requirements are met. Work closely with site management to implement environmental best practices and sustainability initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: ~ Knowledge of Industrial Hygiene sampling. ~40-hour HAZWOPER training. ~ Experience in petrochemical or refining manufacturing. ~ Direct experience working with regulatory agencies. What You Bring: ~ Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering (other technical degrees may be considered). ~2+ years of air permitting experience. ~ Emission calculation experience. ~ Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
