Job Description
Rockstar Recruiting is looking to add to their team. We have an immediate opening for a Recruiter and/or Researcher/Sourcer. We are located in Downtown Georgetown, ON, walking distance to coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants and a Library.. Previous experience is less important to us than attitude and drive. We will happily hire someone with 0 recruiting experience and provide in-depth training to get you up to speed. We will work closely with you for the first few months but after that we ideally want someone that is able to work independently and make their own choices. We are always here to help and bounce ideas off but don't have the time to micromanage everything you do.
Fair warning, recruiting is not for everyone. It can be a trying experience dealing with unreasonable clients and disappearing candidates but when it goes right it is incredibly rewarding. You can expect spending a lot of time searching for candidates through various online channels and spending hours on the phone pitching jobs, screening candidates and coordinating interviews. If you are not comfortable on the phone or have a hard time sitting behind a desk, then this role is not for you.
Those that tend to do very well in recruiting are competitive, driven individuals who like solving problem. Recruiting is a base plus commission model, the more work that you put in the better you will do. It can be quite lucrative for those who jump in with both feet.
