Job Title: Nocturnist Hospitalist - Internal Medicine Location: Brownwood, Texas Schedule: 7 on/7 off block scheduling; 6:00 pm – 6:00 am Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our practice in Central Texas. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a 180+ bed hospital. Manage and coordinate patient care throughout the night shift. Attend to patients in the open ICU setting. Demonstrate proficiency in running codes and handling emergent situations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Qualifications: Medical Degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine. Active Texas Medical License or ability to obtain. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Hospitalist preferred.
