Summary

Instruct Infant- Toddler aged children 2mo-14mo old in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for preschool. This position Scheduled full time work hours of 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm MONDAY-FRIDAY.

Duties

• Attend to children's basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers.
• Read books to entire classes or to small groups.
• Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
• Serve meals and snacks in accordance with nutritional guidelines.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Arrange indoor and outdoor space to facilitate creative play, motor-skill activities, and safety.
• Attend staff meetings

Requirements

• Read to children
• Monitor student behavior, social development, or health.
• Discuss student progress with parents or guardians.
• Teach life skills.
• Provide for basic needs of children.
• Arrange childcare or educational settings to ensure physical safety of children.
• Plan educational activities.
• Display student work.
• Attend training sessions or professional meetings to develop or maintain professional knowledge.
• Discuss problems or issues with supervisors.

-CDA, TCC, or other training certificate / degree
