Job Description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing steel and metal structures, is seeking an Industrial Assembler to join their team. As an Industrial Assembler, you will be part of the fabrication assembly team supporting the construction of modular steel buildings. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization. Some of the work will be outside in the elements.

Job Title: Industrial Assembler

Location: Grandview, MO

Pay Range: $20-25 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform hands-on fabrication and assembly of modular steel buildings, ensuring all components meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Follow OSHA standards and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Operate forklifts, power tools, and heavy machinery as part of the fabrication and assembly process.
• Ensure high-quality work through attention to detail and regular inspection of your own work.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings related to steel structures and modular buildings.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or assembly.
• 3 years of experience in steel erection or assembly, modular building construction, or related fields.
• Proficiency in using fabrication tools and heavy machinery, including forklifts and power tools.
• Ability to lift and handle materials, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction or safety are a plus.
