As we continue to expand, we seek a detail-oriented Compliance Associate to join our team in Plano, TX.

Position Summary:

The Compliance Associate will support the Compliance Officer in ensuring that AFNB adheres to federal and state regulations, particularly concerning Medicaid HCBS services. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare compliance, familiarity with Medicaid regulations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures in alignment with Medicaid and other applicable regulations.
• Conduct routine audits of client files, caregiver records, and billing practices to identify potential compliance risks.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies to reflect new requirements.
• Prepare compliance reports and present findings to the Compliance Officer and Compliance Committee.
• Respond to internal compliance inquiries and provide guidance to team members.
• Assist in investigations of compliance-related incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Support compliance training initiatives for new and existing employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, preferably in Medicaid HCBS.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and Medicaid regulations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management software.
