Email Marketing Coordinator Job Summary The Email Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for building emails in Hubspot under the direction of the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will (i) be adept in digital technologies, (ii) possess a willingness to learn techniques that drive open rates and clicks, and (iii) work with and take direction and feedback from members of the greater marketing team including product, graphic design, web, and content. Key Duties Build and send Marketing emails through HubSpot, paying close attention to pre-set subject lines, send information, content formatting, audience, design, branding, and overall layout as directed by leadership Review and test emails yourself and with marketing leadership to ensure proper display on all platforms Upload assets (images, lists, etc.) to Hubspot’s media library, add appropriate links, and create CTAs that foster an engaging email for the customer Assist in audience list segmentation based on email campaign and requirements Collaborate with the greater Marketing team to ensure emails are built in a timely fashion, leveraging the email marketing calendar and project management tool as your to-do list Ensure that emails are reviewed by the appropriate stakeholders for edits and feedback, then implement their feedback before securing final approval Work with Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to implement A/B tests to improve our email campaigns Work with Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to develop and launch email nurturing campaigns and marketing automation for lead generation Monitor and report on email campaign performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.) Monitor and research industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization (including deliverability standards for CAN-SPAM regulations) Stay up to date with email marketing software and technologies, making recommendations for adoption or upgrades Support the digital marketing team with other tasks as needed, such as project coordination, list clean up, database and subscription management, and other team initiatives Assist with the analysis and reporting of digital marketing campaigns to help the team make data-driven decisions that improve results over time Education/Training Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field Required Work Experience/Skills 0-3 years of experience in email or digital marketing Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact, etc.) Energetic with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn, fail fast, and use learnings to continually improve Comfortable and confident working collaboratively with a team Able to support senior leaders with time-sensitive projects Excellent communication and collaboration skills Driven and able to decide when to take initiative vs. when to take direction Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards Other Skills (Desired but not Required) Familiarity with HTML/CSS for emails Familiarity with marketing metrics and KPIs Understand digital marketing channels such as email marketing, website management, SEO, PPC, and other channels Familiarity with digital marketing software and tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, Monday.com, ChatGPT Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) Discretionary Judgment Uses independent judgment and discretion based upon the employee’s experience in the position and knowledge of the products, equipment, and services Uses good judgement and possesses ethical work values Physical Demands, Working Conditions, and General Employment Guidelines While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
