Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union continues its momentum of growth and has a new opportunity to lead the operations and digital team as the Director, Deposit and Digital Banking Operations!
The Director will strategically lead the division while managing and optimizing all deposit-related services and digital banking platforms. In this role, the new leader will ensure an exceptional member service experience, maintain operational efficiencies, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance technology. This individual will collaborate with all departments to align operational strategies with business goals and objectives as the organization propels its strategic direction through merger and acquisition activity.
Reporting to the SVP of Technology and Operations, the Director will lead the digital transformation initiatives and innovation in banking technology and processes, monitor trends and evolving member expectations, and provide recommendations on product enhancements. The individual will oversee the daily operations for deposit accounts, ACH, Wires, Share Draft processing, Debit card services, and other transactional functions in addition to the operations of the digital banking platforms utilized by the credit union.
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, information systems, or a related field is strongly preferred. A minimum of seven years of banking or credit union operations experience with increasing levels of management and leadership roles with proven success leading digital transformation and/or implementing new financial technology is needed. Exceptional leadership, communication, project management, and vendor negotiation skills are necessary.
