Job Description
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders to determine staffing needs and produce forecasts and reporting. Incorporate metrics to define success/failure and share with key stakeholders.
- Complete and/or facilitate Direct Recruitment of all positions within the assigned business unit.
- Manage third-party recruitment agencies and staffing firms to ensure delivery in accordance with the agreement.
- Manage collegiate recruiting programs in assigned markets.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement to ensure deadlines are met while maintaining quality. Includes maintaining knowledge of the current trends in the talent landscape, recruiting methodologies, and tactics in various markets
- Support and assist with the implementation of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition initiatives to enhance successful rollout and acceptance throughout the organization.
- Support the T.A. reporting needs of the team, using knowledge of T.A. Tools and in systems to supplement and communicate with the HR Reporting area, ensuring the HR team has the data and reports they need on both a routine and ad hoc or project basis.
Preference to have Workday knowledge to hit the ground running, even faster. Also, would prefer that they have worked as a
full-lifecycle recruiter in the past, so they understand the TA model we have here.
Additional Responsibilities on the Team:
- Consultative Talent Acquisition: Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their talent needs and provide strategic guidance on recruitment best practices. Collaborate to develop tailored recruitment strategies for each role.
- AI-Enhanced Candidate Engagement: Utilize AI technology and cutting-edge tools to identify, attract, and engage high-caliber candidates proactively.
- Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source and attract top-tier candidates using job boards, social media, professional networks, and other channels.
- Candidate-Centric Approach: Deliver extraordinary service throughout the recruitment journey with transparent communication, timely updates, and personalized interactions.
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from initial requisition creation, to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all parties.
- Screening and Evaluation: Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume reviews, interviews, and skills evaluations, ensuring alignment with company's culture and job requirements.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor insights to make informed recommendations to hiring teams.
- Employer Branding: Enhance company's employer brand by promoting our unique culture and career opportunities and participating in branding initiatives and events.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use data and metrics to track recruitment performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize the recruitment process continually.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of talent acquisition experience with a successful track record in sourcing and hiring top talent preferred.
- Strong consultative skills for building relationships and effective collaboration.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software/tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for delivering exceptional candidate and customer experiences.
- Knowledge of the homebuilding or real estate industry is a plus.
