We are offering an exciting opportunity in Jupiter, Florida, for a Controller to join our client's team in the manufacturing technology industry. The Controller will play a crucial role in preparing and consolidating financial statements, managing the general ledger, and liaising with external auditors, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial reports.

• Act as a liaison with external auditors to ensure all financial reporting is compliant with GAAP.

• Manage the full spectrum of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses to provide insights into financial performance.

• Coordinate the budgeting process to align financial planning with strategic goals.

• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time.

• Review and approve ledger entries and reconciliations prepared by general accountants.

• Analyze and report on cost variances to support strategic decision making.

• Ensure accurate project job cost accounting to facilitate effective project management.

• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with company and government requirements.

• Position requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a Controller role or similar
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management is mandatory
• Demonstrated expertise in Auditing and Month End Close procedures
• Strong understanding and application of GAAP Accounting and IFRS Accounting
• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering is desirable
• Proven skills in Budgeting and Forecasting are essential
• Familiarity with Costpoint - Deltek is a significant advantage
• Proficiency in using financial software such as NetSuite, SAP, and Oracle is required
• Experience in Job Cost management and Consolidated Financial Statements preparation
• Proven track record in conducting Financial Audits
• Prior experience with Government Contracts is highly beneficial
