We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our team in Garrettsville, Ohio. As a Controller, you will play a critical role in managing our company's financial activities, supervising our personnel, and identifying areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the establishment of corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies
• Generate reports forecasting our company's business activity and financial position
• Lead the preparation of budgets and review budget proposals
• Offer advice on insurance coverage for property losses and potential liabilities
• Provide regular reviews of the organization's financial status and progress in various programs
• Recommend operational adjustments in response to revisions in tax codes
• Organize audits of the company's accounts
• Prepare reports as required by regulatory agencies
• Foster relationships with banks and other financial institutions
• Supervise the upgrade and maintenance of the company payroll system
• Provide support to employees in the accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable departments
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Manage the hiring, training, and supervision of accounting staff.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller position or similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven knowledge in Auditing procedures

• Familiarity with Budget Processes and planning

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Ability to prepare and interpret Financial Statements

• Experience in managing Payroll processes

• Prior experience in the Manufacturing sector is required
