Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Handle all phases of construction defect litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda with minimal supervision
• Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses
• Manage client communications and provide strategic legal advice
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Collaborate with internal teams and outside experts to build strong cases
• Meet a minimum annual billing requirement of 1,800 hours

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in Colorado
• 2–12 years of litigation experience, and must have construction law or defect litigation experience
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Prior experience representing developers, general contractors, or insurers is a plus
