COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Hourly rate $22 Potential for Stock Equity 401K Matching Competitive Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, and Vision Three weeks of PTO 11 Paid Holidays SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs a wide range of skilled repetitive mechanical assembly operations in support of production projects. Assembles, modifies, reworks, and/or reassembles production components utilizing drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and/or verbal instructions. Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to power screwdriver, ruler, clamp machine, heat gun, and automatic wire strippers. Cleans parts prior to production use as required. Identifies wires with use of basic color code sequence. Participates in first time production runs of new products. Supports cycle count activity, inventory handling, and inventory transactions following established material procedures. Participates in continuous improvement and team building activities; maintains productive working relationships with all team members. Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of industry, machinery, and techniques. Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of all applicable safety regulations and considerations. Completes all required paperwork; prepares required reports and correspondence. Performs clean-up, bend organization, and tool inventory activities. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: One to two years related experience or equivalent. Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination. Ability to identify colors. Ability to read and understand work instructions and assembly drawings. Familiarity with various mechanical and electrical measuring equipment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requirements include to be able to work the regular workweek of 40 hours, and to be prepared to work irregular hours for emergency production needs or problems that arise. Required to wear protective clothing and glasses in some areas. Frequently standing, sitting, walking, handling, feeling with hands, reaching with arms. Lifting up to 75 lbs. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Operating around high voltage components. Regular communication (hearing/speaking). Vision requirements include close, distant, color perception, peripheral, depth and ability to focus. Working around moderate noise conditions.
