San Vicente Bungalows is a prestigious private members-only club located in West Hollywood, California. Since its 2018 opening, SVB has established itself as a premier destination for individuals seeking a refined and intimate social experience. Our exclusive establishment offers an oasis of tranquility, luxury, and personalized service to our esteemed members. Building on the success of the original West Hollywood location, SVB has expanded to Santa Monica and New York City.

Position Purpose

The Membership Accounts Receivable Manager performs accounting duties that require broad conceptual judgment, initiative, and ability to successfully deal with complex accounting issues and must be knowledgeable with and comply with existing Club policy.

Job Summary

• Process payments for initiation fees and membership dues.
• Follow up with Members on outstanding bills and renewals.
• Generating invoices and account statements.
• Collecting payments from Members.
• Maintaining Membership billing system.
• Answer emails related to Membership accounting inquiries.
• Perform an on-going audit of joining fees and dues based on the age of the Members.
• Assisting in building new members in CRM.
• Updating, auditing, activating, deactivating members based on their requests.
• Monitor and document any member/user resignations via personal contact.
• Document any technical glitches in CRM.
• Performing membership account reconciliations by auditing, activating, or deactivating Subscriptions.
• Producing weekly financial and management reports.
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries inclusive of chargebacks.
• Continually educate and collaborate with management & staff about member interaction best practices & our overall creative aims.
• Other ad hoc tasks assigned by Director of Finance

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

• Must have thorough knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting standards, financial aptitude accompanied by exceptional customer service skills.
• Must have proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate to advance knowledge of Excel; Micros OPERA software, Peoplevine CRM are highly preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate to management, co-workers, and subordinates with the English language, inclusive of reading, writing, and speaking.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational, and analytical skills.
• Must be able to sustain composure, remain calm, and possess a positive attitude.
• Must be able to focus and act with detail, speed and accuracy.
• Must be a team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Must be able to exercise confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications

• General understanding of GAAP principles and requirements.
• Proficient with CRM software.
• Opera Cloud property management/POS systems preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of Accounts Receivable Manager experience in a luxury hospitality brand.
