G&W Equipment, Inc., distributor of CAT, Mitsubishi, and Jungheinrich Lift Trucks, is an industry leader in Sales and Service of Material Handling Equipment and related products, serving North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team. The primary job duties include:

• Manage the AR Team, including hiring, training, developing, and directing their work, and oversee the credit and cash management activities.
• Coordinate all credit and collection activities for the company, including following up on past-due accounts, monitoring credit risk, setting up new customers, conducting regular customer credit evaluations, and tracking cash receipts.
• Communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships with external and internal customers.
• Provide accounting assistance to operations staff; respond to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
• Draft correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment.
• Prepare and review all month-end billing/payment activities and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely billing close.
• Acts as a liaison between the company, government, and external accountants to meet information needs and to ensure records are maintained for historical purposes.
• Recommend and implement enhancements and projects to automate the Accounts Receivable area to meet the needs of our growing organization and develop efficient processes for collecting and posting payments.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Seven (7) or more years of accounts receivable experience, including 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of order-to-cash accounting.
• Sales and use tax experience required.
• Must have strong MS Office skills, and business solutions software skills with ERP; Microsoft Dynamics 365 or EquipSoft software knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in using Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of management, employees, and customers.
• Take ownership of issues and problems, find and enact resolutions, and recommend process changes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan and organize to balance and prioritize work for self and team.
